More Information/Interests

He is the originator of the Lipid Encephalisation and Mismatch Hypothesis (LEMH, 2026) and developer of P-U Medicine (Proximate and Ultimate Medicine — Glanville's Classification, 2026). LEMH is deposited as a preprint at Zenodo (June 2026) and is in preparation for submission to Evolution, Medicine and Public Health. P-U Medicine is a companion framework classifying clinical action into proximate and ultimate categories, extending Tinbergen's evolutionary framework to intervention.

A PhD research programme in evolutionary medicine is in active development for 2027 entry at a leading UK research institution. The proposed thesis tests the LEMH framework empirically across a four-stage disease cascade — metabolic dysregulation, chronic inflammation, mid-life affective disorders, and late-life neurodegeneration — using genotype-stratified analysis of UK Biobank longitudinal data. The theoretical framework engages with the foundational work of Dr Miki Ben-Dor (Paleolithic dietary ecology) and Professor Randolph Nesse (evolutionary medicine), whose research programmes are central to the empirical and conceptual architecture of the proposed thesis.
